My Favourite Chinese Restaurant, Nowhere else but DING HAO! :)
I'll let the picture do the talking, but I have always been very satisfied with the quality of food here! However, I need to spilt my meal to two portion! It's HUGE!!!! SERIOUSLY, I can't possibly finish it at one go...
Crispy Noodles with Chicken
Rating: 10/10

Chinese Brocolli
Rating: 7/10
I think this is WAY TO HUGE! Seriously, U need to cut it to 3 or 4 pieces before putting it into your mouth.. hahaha

The joy of having YANGCHOW Fried Rice from DING HAO!
Check it out!
Rating: 10/10
Talk about stingyness from some restuarants huh?
But I can guarantee you that you'll feel satisfied when you dine at DING HAO!
It's really value for money! Not only that, one portion will feed two.... Unless you're an extremely BIG EATER (like 3 double cheese burgers from Burger King at one go), u can probably then finish what they serve you....

Cripsy noodles with Seafood
Rating: 10/10
WOOOHOOO!! I'd give a big shout out for this one! This is extremely well done! :) I LOVE IT!
It has scallops, squids, good size prawns, vegies & fish in it.... LOVE IT! LOVE IT LOVE IT!!

Even after trying my upmost best effort to eat the extra large portion... I was still able to make up another box of noodles from my left over for another person. So that means, one plate for two meals :)

Fu Jian Noodles
Rating: 6/10
mmm... Maybe to some people this taste nice, this is solely my personal opinion. I've tasted better Fu Jian Noodles before and I think the Noodles is too big to my liking. It's like UDON NOODLES XXL.. hahahaha! :) Anyway, here's the picture...

Where do you find the best Grilled chicken? Nowhere else but Oporto!
With the right sauce, right taste, right spice! :) Try it!!!
But let me warn you, it's SPICY! Not unless you can handle really spicy food (pardon my tolerance for spicy food though... i can't really take spicy food actually) :P hahaha! so in my context, it's extremely spicy!
:P
I've probably done a post for Oporto previously. anyway, this is another one :)

The Noodle Box
The Noodle Box
Website: www.greattong.co.nz
Address: Shop 1/583 Manukau Road Epsom Auckland
Phone : +64 09 6254 745
Overall Rating: 7/10
========================================================
First Established in 1994, The Great Tong™ Takeaways has quickly became renowned for it's uniquely seasoned fried chicken and healthy styled takeaway meals. The Director Mr Tong Lin had an inspirational idea about combining traditional Chinese style cooking with the needs of the growing generation of today and came up with the noodle box concept. With Great Tong Noodle Box you can choose which meats or seafood and vegetables you want from a smorgasbord display. Then our chefs will combine those items and fresh ingredients and noodles in a sizzling wok and serve them to you in a stylish takeaway noodle box.
===========================================================
I think The Noodle Box does serve good food! However, they should REDUCE (SERIOUSLY!) on the oil... it is VERY OILY! But the food does taste good though!
I've only tried Noodle Box twice, both time, I leave with a happy heart after taking the food! But I really think it's way way way too oily. When u first start eating, nothing seems wrong.. but when u get to the bottom of the container.. OMG, the food's drenched in oil! :S
Anyway, here goes the pictures:
This noodle doesn't have a name to it. I called the shop and said,
me: I'd like to have thin egg noodles. I'm craving for thin noodles (as to replace kolo mee! damn!)
the lady: yeap! What kind? Spicy or not spicy?
me: Spicy
the lady: with Pork? Chicken? or Beef?
me: Pork
the lady: you want veggies too?
me: (duhhh!) yes, please
the lady: When do you want it? My cook knows how to cook it!
me: owhh.. mmm... 10 minutes time?
the lady: ok. no problem. see you in 10.
